Rehabilitation Program for the Disabled:

Now Rehabilitation Program is going on, with the help of Mend, Newzealand, we are requesting the donors to come forward and join hands with us to achieve our objective:-
Disability should not be a barrier to the people those who are suffering, with good treatment and artificial limbs and Calipers, they have to stand on their own legs and should lead a happy life.

Our organization will select 50 members from the Machilipatnam Town and 31 villages of Machilipatnam Mandal (20 children for physiotherapy treatment and 30 children for Calipers 30childen),we are actively participating in various developmental programmes, particularly for the welfare of the needy disabled We have good deal of experience in the participation thrift training, counseling on various entrepreneurship, Income Generation training programmes, skill development, human rights protection for disabled and many other programmes and we are in progressive path of development. We have five years of experience in the disabled welfare programmes , we have conducted several disabled awareness programmes and other supportive services to the disabled, as the president of the organization is disabled, so he concentrated specially on disabled problems and helped them.

Target Area: Machilipatnam Mandal and surrounding areas: We will select needy disabled from Machilipatnam mandal and surrounding areas, those who are economically poor, socially back ward, and culturally dispriveledged due to poverty and ignorance. They are back ward class as scheduled caste, scheduled tribes and other minorities of Christians and other poor. Total Number of the candidates =50 members.

Project Duration: One year, after that it will be extended to few more years After receiving the grant immediately the project will be started in the first week, the beneficiaries will be selected from the Machilipatnam town and surrounding villages and treatment will be started for the needy disabled, for Calipers the children will be taken to the centers, as a continuous process awareness meeting will be conducted.

Aims and Objectives of the Project:

• The target Disabled children will be aware about the importance of Physiotherapy and Calipers and they will become self sustained.

• The beneficiaries can go to school regularly

• They can get rather average medical treatment.

• Their socio-economic living conditions will be improved.

• The project improves the cultural, social and economic empowerment of the proposed poor disabled children

Aims and Objectives of the Project:

• To give good treatment and Calipers to the target disabled Children
• To foster skill development/Vocational training

• To help them attain sustainable livelihood sources

• To enable them having common facilities

• To make them up as self confident

• To improve their socio-economic living conditions

• To ensure unity and integration

• To promote coalition working track

• To engage them with primary health care system

• To make them participate in various disabled welfare programmes
• To make stress counseling on the protection and promotion of disabled human rights.

Problems proposed to be solved:

• Provisions for the treatment and artificial devices
• Socio-economic development
• Disabled human rights protection.

Consequently many of their other problems as health, schooling, education, insolvency, and unawareness will be automatically solved as well as their income resources are improved.

Staff: There will be one Project Coordinator, with the help of the volunteers; he will look in to the activities. The The Honorary Director will be held with the responsibility of the maintenance of the project. The project Coordinator will be full time. They will be paid by the Organization every month continuously up to one year. At the end  of the project, if any loop holes found we will plan to over come and implement new strategies. Honorary Director and as well as our volunteers will help the target beneficiaries in all aspects.
